Terms of Service
Agreement guidelines governing driver bookings, routes, and regional compliance.
Last updated: July 1, 2026
1. Scope of Service
Majestic Miles Travel designs customized guided travel loops and coordinates transport vehicles, local driver unions, and homestay bookings in Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh. By requesting our planning services, you agree to these service conditions.
2. On-Ground Driving Safety Rules
Due to the steep, narrow, and foggy mountain roads of Northeast India (e.g. Shillong–Sohra Highway or Sela Pass routes), safety is our absolute priority. Under our operator agreements:
- Drivers coordinate standard daylight operations (typically concluding by 18:00 or 19:00 IST).
- Drivers retain full authority to pause transit or change routes during heavy fogs, rain, or landslide risks.
- Vehicles are regularly maintained and checked, but rough mountain road transits might require unexpected parts replacement, which we will handle immediately through our local mechanic networks.
3. Inner Line Permits (ILP) & Clearances
Entering Arunachal Pradesh requires a valid Inner Line Permit (ILP) or Protected Area Permit (PAP) issued by the Government of India. While we coordinate permit processing on your behalf, it is your responsibility to provide valid identity proofs (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.) in a timely manner. We are not responsible for permit rejections due to invalid credentials or temporary government shutdowns.
4. Force Majeure & Route Adjustments
Northeast India is subject to seasonal changes, monsoon floods, landslides, and heavy winter snow blocks. If roads are closed by state authorities or local village councils, we reserve the right to modify the itinerary loop and route you to safe alternative sectors, communicating with you continuously throughout the process.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes arising out of bookings or services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Assam.
